Forth loop now complete and started to add additional bus stops from the cities as they have grown so much. Now on to creating the extra line going around the opposite direction :)

So I started the first loop going the other way but ran out of money so can't finish it and now two original loops are losing some serious cash, I'm about 40m in the red :( I guess the system just doesn't work, the stations are full of people and the trains are busy but just don't make enough, even being cheap diesels.

I'll have to start over again and just do cargo instead.

Pondering how far to do with this map and what new maps would be interesting to try.

Norddeutschland Karte 24x24 km / Modifikation

The River Delta Redux

NB. some maps are larger than normal, so you have to edit C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<userid>\446800\local\settings.lua and set experimentalMapSizes = true

Then start a new game, load the map mod in advanced, and select the map again in map selection.

Norddeutschland Karte took an age to load about about 6GB of ram! (size= 24kbx24km)
River Delta was a bit more reasonable at about 1GB. (size=14kmx21km)

Not sure there is enough to do on River Delta.

That big one looks good I'm just a bit wary of how well it'll run when filled with our premium transport services.

Going well with Norddeutschland so far. Got the full 100M loan do some initial passenger train runs, and now have paid that off and now have 300M+. That Oil run we discussed I've added another line to take fuel to another city as I think my demand was dropping off. The best line is my grain/livestock one (~30M/yr plus maybe another 10M moving the food) in which the farm has grow to supply 3200 but I'm continually expanding things to shift it all!

Is a 3200 farm a mod or a map thing? I'll probably skip this map. By the time I'll be able to play you guys will be at year 3000.
On the other hand, I think I've pushed the Mallard seed map to the limit. I've spend like 10h for my new cargo line system. Now every city has acces to all products and I can easiely add more of a certain protuct to the cargo chain. Costs were about 4,5 billion to build it. Right now I am losing money on the network, but with a little teaking it should pay off. Only shitty thing is that all the new trains and stuff have put my computer to the limit. The lag is real. Once I make money on the new network it is probably time to end the map. Income is around 2,5B/year, Profit down to 300mio because I lose around 300mio on the new stuff. But cities started to grow again (5500-6000 for the biggest one). TGV lines and cargo raw materials are making most of my profit.
